Royal Caribbean International opens Perfect Day at CocoCay

Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean International’s first Perfect Day island, has officially opened.

The line said that $250 million transformation of its private island in The Bahamas debuts a combination of “first-of-their-kind thrills and one-of-a-kind ways to chill that revolutionises private destinations in the travel industry.”

Key features include Daredevil’s Peak – the tallest waterslide in North America; Up, Up and Away – a helium balloon that takes guests up to 450 feet in the air; the Caribbean’s largest wave pool; the first overwater cabanas in The Bahamas;thee Caribbean’s largest freshwater pool, Oasis Lagoon; and a 1,600-foot-long zip-line course that criss-crosses the island.

“Royal Caribbean is the proven leader when it comes to pushing the envelope in cruise ship design and the experiences offered at sea,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International.
