A-Rosa partners with Andante Travels

A-Rosa and Andante Travels have partnered to offer a selection of archaeology themed cruises on the Rhone, Rhine and Danube in 2020.

There are five itineraries, which will feature visits to ancient sites accompanied by Andante’s expert lecturers.

As with all A-Rosa’s cruises, drinks are included.

To celebrate the launch of these new cruises, agents can earn a £20 Love2Shop voucher for every 2020 booking they make between now and 31 October 2019.

Jackie Willis, CEO of Andante Travels, said, “We’re delighted to introduce this new range of cruises in partnership with A-ROSA River Cruises and we hope agents will embrace them. What makes these cruises unique is the package of fully exclusive, private excursions that have been skillfully crafted by Andante’s archaeological and historical experts. The resulting itineraries are fascinating, as each river that is travelled on will reveal a different story, with the chance to uncover ancient ruins, discover architectural splendours and be immersed in history en route. Many of the rivers have played a significant role in the demarcation of empires and were often central to trade – so provide an intriguing angle from which to approach a destination.”

Lucia Rowe, managing director of A-Rosa River Cruises UK & Ireland added: “Combining our river cruises with the chance to delve deeper into some of the destinations we visit is such an exciting development for us. Special interest cruises are always popular and I urge agents to research local societies and clubs in their areas and ensure they are aware of these new itineraries as it might just result in a group booking.”
