CMV passengers record sighting of Northern Lights

Northern Lights CMV

Passengers on board Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Magellan were privy to a breathtaking view of the Northern Lights on the line’s Norwegian itinerary.

The ex-UK departure to the North Cape arrived in Honningsvåg today, a prime location for viewing Aurora Borealis.

Mike Hall, head of marketing said: “The success of our Land of the Northern Lights cruises always depends on the ideal atmospheric conditions being in place and this morning was perfect. The CMV passengers and crew on board were delighted to be treated to such spectacular views of the Northern Lights.”

The company is launching a buy one get one free deal to coincide with the sighting. The offer is available on the 14 night Land of the Northern Lights cruise, which departs on 29 October from London Tilbury. The offer means that two people will sail for £1,719.
