Holland America launches Cuba sailings

Holland America Line is to cruise to Cuba from the United States this year, the company has announced.

The Caribbean cruises, which went on sale last Friday, will be from seven to 12 nights and include calls at Havana and Cienfuegos.

All of the sailings, which will be on the 1,350-passenger Veendam, will start and end in Fort Lauderdale. The 12-night sailing will also call at Cozumel, Costa Maya, Key West, Montego Bay and Grand Cayman. The seven-night cruise will call at Grand Cayman and Cozumel in addition to the Cuban ports.

Every Cuban cruise includes an overnight stay in Havana with prices starting from £989 per person.
