Princess Cruises to name new ship Enchanted Princess

Princess Cruises’ fifth Royal-class ship will be named Enchanted Princess.

The 3,660-guest vessel, which will launch in June 2020, will sail its inaugural season in Europe. Bookings are due to open on November 8, 2018.

Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises, said: “The name Enchanted Princess is captivating and conveys the elegance and grace of our new ship which will introduce more travellers to the pleasures and value of cruising. We are certain Enchanted Princess will exceed the expectations of our guests, ensuring they have the most memorable cruise.”

Enchanted Princess will be a sister ship to Royal Princess, Regal Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess (joining the fleet in October 2019). The company currently has a sixth Royal-class ship on order followed by two much-anticipated liquified natural gas ships launching in 2023 and 2025.
