Princess Cruises unveils Sky Princess features

Princess Cruises has unveiled features onboard its 3,600-guest ship Sky Princess, which will launch in the Mediterranean in October 2019.

Innovations include its first-ever Sky Suites, which will have the largest private balconies offered by the line and will be centrally located on the top decks of the ship.

The two 700-square feet suites will provide an uninterrupted 270-degree view and accommodate up to five guests.

They will provide a private vantage point of the ship’s Movie Under the Stars screen, as well as a space for hosting celebrations and catered events by onboard chefs.

Jan Swartz, president of Princess Cruises, said: “Our two new Sky Suites reflect Princess Cruises’ continued commitment to offer new and expansive accommodations that meet the needs of our guests who wish to explore the world in ultimate comfort.”

Also new will be the addition of a Wakeview pool on the ship’s aft decks, as well as new deep-tank top deck pools, a Retreat Pool, and more Jacuzzis than the previous Royal-Class ships, including two cantilevered over the deep-tank pools.

The new Vista Lounge will come with a full bar and a new café in the Princess Live venue, serving barista made coffee, tea and quick bites.

Princess Cruises is offering a seven-night Mediterranean cruise on Sky Princess, sailing from Barcelona to Rome. Prices start from £1409 per person with $100 onboard spending money per person*. Departing Sunday October 27, 2019 ports of call include Gibraltar, Toulon/Provence (La Seyne), Genoa and Florence/Pisa (Livorno).
