Riley and Sherborne promoted at P&O Cruises

Carnival UK’s British brand, P&O Cruises, has announced that Nathaniel Sherborne and Shane Riley have been promoted as part of changes to the leadership structure of its dedicated sales team.

Sherborne, who is currently director of national partnerships for Carnival UK, will assume the role of director of trade sales for P&O, while Riley, who is currently director of retail, new business and onboard sales for Carnival UK, will assume the role of director of trade engagement and onboard sales.

Sherborne will be in charge of travel agent sales revenue, including the management of national and retail strategic partner accounts and partnership development teams.

Riley’s focus will be on promotions, events, communications and sales support; regional sales and training, and future cruise on board sales teams.

They will assume their new roles on December 1.

Riley and Sherborne will report into Alex White, who will assume the role of vice president of sales and distribution once the wider changes are finalised in mid-2018.

White said: “Nathaniel and Shane are both dedicated and proven industry leaders with the knowledge and experience we require to drive the P&O Cruises partnership team and help strengthen links with our travel agent partners who continue to play such a vital role for us.”
