Silversea has launched a new ‘selling suite’, from a program to print off marketing materials, to a new Facebook group and agent rewards scheme.
The five platforms under the Silversea Selling Suite include Silversea Agent Rewards, Marketing Central, Silversea Cruises UK Travel Agent Centre, Travel Agent Resources and Webinar Wednesdays.
Peter Shanks, managing director UK, Ireland, Middle East & Africa for Silversea, said: “These new initiatives are a great addition to our existing suite of Travel Agent platforms. It really endorses our commitment to the trade and I am excited that we can help Agents further develop and grow their business with Silversea, especially within a busy wave period.”
The Silversea Agent Rewards programme is the firm’s loyalty scheme that rewards the trade for booking eligible cruises. Agents can claim points when they book and redeem these points for either Amazon or Love2Shop voucher codes. According to a statement, this is a new membership platform for agents in the UK, through which agents can process claims and earn money to redeem at their convenience – either as earned or once accrued.
Under marketing central agents will be able to access Silversea materials to use with their own contact information and logos. These can either be downloaded to print or email, or ordered through the platform and sent straight to clients. There is an in-built email service that allows agents to materials to their database securely.
The Silversea Cruises UK Travel Agent Centre is a Facebook page especially for travel agents while Travel Agent Resources, which is housed in the ‘Resources’ section of Silversea’s Academy, is a collection of resources for agents that will help them sell to their clients such as deck plans.
