Viking Cruises has won a gold medal for its garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.

The Viking Cruises Garden of Inspiration’, designed by Sarah Eberle, reflected the “art and culture of Barcelona”, according to the company.

Eberle said: “I feel hugely emotional, proud and delighted that Viking Cruises have given me this opportunity to create this historic garden.”

Eberle became the first ever female gardener to win a gold medal in every category, including one for ‘Viking Cruises Mekong Garden’ previously. She is also the proud owner of gold medals in more categories than anyone else in history.

Joanna Shirley, the shows judging manager added: “There was a fantastic collection of artisan gardens sure to surprise and delight visitors. It’s always a tough decision to make!”
