A-Rosa River Cruises has pushed back the launch of the A-Rosa Sena by one week, due to delays caused by Covid-19 during the final commissioning phase.
Instead of making its debut on May 21, 2022, as originally planned, the ship will now set sail along the northern Rhine on May 28. All affected guests are being contacted and the line said they will be offered “attractive re-booking options.”
An update from the line said: “Like so many businesses, A-Rosa has been affected by the present situation regarding Covid-19 and supply chain challenges. Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases amongst shipyard employees, suppliers and service providers and the shortness of certain supplies, which has only been intensified by the war in Ukraine, the completion of the vessel has been unexpectedly delayed.”
In April A-Rosa River Cruises UK and Ireland recruited Joe Lavers as regional sales manager for the south.
