The ship has special family cabins onboard, an industry first.
Lucia Rowe, managing director of A-ROSA River Cruises UK & Ireland said: “A-Rosa Sena is unlike anything seen before on the rivers of Europe and sets the standard for our next generation of ships. She has had an incredible year already and her unrivalled sustainability credentials show how serious we are on our journey towards protecting the destinations and rivers we sail through.
“In the last year, guests of all ages have been enjoying all her unique facilities, many of which have never been seen on a river cruise ship before. It’s amazing that over 650 children have been introduced to river cruising onboard A-Rosa Sena and with the key school holidays approaching, this number will just continue to grow.”
A-Rosa Sena has spacious family cabins sleeping up to five, a dedicated kids club room, a separate children’s pool on the sundeck as well as sustainable technology helping protect the rivers. A-Rosa will become the first river cruise line to offer swimming lessons onboard one of its ships in August, thanks to a partnership with Wasserlust Swimming School
Rowe added: “A-Rosa Sena really is one-of-a-kind, and we had some amazing feedback from our guests on board during the first season, with 95% of guests stating they were satisfied or very satisfied with their trip. It is also wonderful to hear how children have embraced river cruising and all that it offers as a family holiday option.”
