AmaWaterways launches new AmaAcademy course
The Danube River with AmaWaterways available now
AmaWaterways has launched its second training course on AmaAcademy, its online training platform, focusing on The Danube river.
The course is designed to help agents increase their sales on the popular river.
AmaWaterways’ executives and business development managers have held more than 2,000 virtual events during the pause in operation, providing information on rescheduling cruises, real time health and safety protocols and inspirational content on new ships and itineraries.
“Now is the perfect time to launch the second AmaAcademy Course as our travel agent partners are preparing themselves to capture the pent-up demand for travel in 2021 and beyond”, said Jamie Loizou, UK managing director of AmaWaterways.
“We have seen a huge growth in digital engagement from our dedicated travel partners over recent months, whether it be with bespoke virtual trainings, agents joining our regular webinars or our hugely popular virtual cruise events where we work with them to bring to life river cruising for their clients. The latest AmaAcademy course shows our ongoing commitment to our agents, providing training and support in this most challenging of years.”
AmaAcademy launched in 2019 with its first course titled Ama’ Means Love: The AmaWaterways Difference. As with the first, travel agents who make a reservation with a deposit within 90 days of completing the new course qualify to earn a £25 Love2shop voucher – limited to one voucher per agent.
AmaWaterways will be launching three new ships in 2021, including the AmaDahlia on the Nile.
