The new British no-fly line has joined the trade association and provided an update on its financial protection arrangements

Ambassador Cruise Line has joined ABTA and provided an update on its financial protection arrangements.

The new British cruise line began sailing from London Tilbury in April of this year with its first ship, Ambience. A second vessel, Ambition, will enter service in May 2023.

In compliance with the Package Travel and Linked Arrangements Regulations 2018, Ambassador’s guests are now financially protected by a Financial Failure Insurance policy, which is managed by TMU Management Limited and underwritten by Accelerant Insurance Europe SA.

CEO Christian Verhounig said:  “At the heart of the Ambassador Cruise Line proposition is one objective, to prioritise the guest.

“This extends far beyond the booking and onboard experience. We are delighted to announce that Ambassador is now an ABTA member.

“Our comprehensive insurance scheme also means guests are reassuringly financially protected and can book with confidence and peace of mind.”
