Ambassador Cruise Line has launched a five-night Cricketing Legends themed cruise to Hamburg and Antwerp in December 2022.
The line’s first ship Ambience will depart London Tilbury and sail to Hamburg and Antwerp for the German Christmas markets with six cricketing legends on board.
Cruise passengers will be joined by David Gower OBE, Graham Gooch OBE, Mike Gatting OBE, Devon Malcolm, Ray East and John (JK) Lever MBE.
Hosted by BBC broadcaster Gary Richardson, the cricket stars will discuss their personal experiences and views on the game today.
There will also be quizzes such as A Question of Sport, and pre-dinner drinks.
Ambassador Cruise Line is the first British cruise line to be launched since 2010.
The line will sail from London Tilbury on a series of ex-UK no-fly voyages aimed at the over-50s market.
Ambience’s inaugural voyage will be a short break cruise to Hamburg departing April 6, 2022.
The Cricketing Legends cruise departs December 11, 2022, and costs from £399 per person for a superior twin cabin, including a 15 per cent early saver discount (discounted fares end September 30, 2021).
