American Cruise Lines expands for 2023

The small ship and river cruise line is adding three new ships, 10 itineraries and 21 new ports for the 2023-24 season

American Cruise Lines has announced three new vessels, 10 new itineraries and 21 new ports for its 2023-2024 season.

The small ship and river cruse line is introducing a sixth modern riverboat – the 175-passenger American Serenadewhich will sail on the Mississippi River from April, 2023 – and two brand new 109-passenger Coastal Cats, American Eagle and American Glory, which will sail East Coast itineraries from August, 2023.

The line is also introducing 10 new itineraries, including an eight-day round-trip San Francisco Bay Cruise which highlights Napa and wine country and a 15-day National Parks and Legendary Rivers itinerary which includes an eight-day cruise on the Columbia and Snake Rivers and a seven-day exploration through Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Tetonthree National Parks.

Further new cruises in Florida and the Keys, as well as several new itineraries highlighting coastal New England and Maine, will follow in 2024.

Among the 21 new ports of call are San Francisco, California, Sag Harbor, New York and Key West, Florida.
