Angus Struthers to leave Cunard

VP of global marketing and EMEA sales to leave company after 13 years

Angus Struthers, VP Global Marketing and EMEA Sales, at Cunard is to leave the business after the inaugural events of its new ship, Queen Anne, the company has announced.

Struthers has worked for Cunard since 2013, leading brand development, marketing, PR and events, trade relations in the UK and across EMEA, and digital transformation.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, said: “Angus has been at the heart of the Cunard brand evolution and commercial growth over the last decade overseeing, amongst other successes, Queen Mary 2’s ‘Remastering’, the launch of Cunard’s Event Voyage programme, spectacular celebrations for our 175th anniversary in Liverpool and of course the exciting imminent arrival of our first new ship in 14 years, Queen Anne. We’re seeing our strongest booking results in a decade and as the brand goes from strength to strength I’d like to thank Angus for the incredible contribution and passion he’s showed for the brand.”

Struthers added: “Cunard is an incredible brand and I look back with much pride at the many successes we’ve achieved, but after nearly eleven years and once we’ve seen the magnificent Queen Anne named, I feel it is the right time to find my next exciting career opportunity.”
