Royal Caribbean International has released its new European summer 2022 programme, which sees seven ships deployed to Europe for the first time.
Anthem of the Seas will be sailing from Southampton for a second consecutive season, while Barcelona will have Allure of the Seas. Odyssey of the Seas, which launches next year, will be based out of Rome and will also run Holy Land cruises.
The other ships sailing in Europe are Brilliance of the Seas, which will be sailing out of Venice; Voyager of the Seas, which will be cruising the Baltic Sea; Jewel of the Seas out of Tarragona in Spain; and Vision of the Seas in the Western Mediterranean.
Speaking to Cruise Adviser, Stuart Byron, Royal Caribbean’s director of sales, said: “For the first time we will have seven ships sailing in Europe, which just goes to show the importance of the region for us as a brand globally. Not only that but we’ve also got some of our very best hardware in the region, too.
Anthem of the Seas will sail a mixture of seven, 12 and 14-night cruises to Northern Europe, the Iberian Peninsula, Western Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. The ship features dodgems, Ripcord by iFly and the North Star viewing platform.
