APT launches new Faraway Collection

It includes a Travelmarvel cruise on the Lower Ganges in India and the maiden season of the new ship Mekong Serenity

APT and Travelmarvel has launched its new Faraway Collection of river cruise and touring itineraries for 2023 and 2024.

It includes a Travelmarvel cruise on the Lower Ganges in India for the first time, beginning and ending in Kolkata with seven nights cruising on the boutique RV Majmahal. It includes a visit to Nirmal Hriday, Mother Teresa’s house and a scenic local train journey from Kolkata to Farakka.

There are also two new 13-day itineraries exploring Japan sailing from Tokyo to Osaka as well as three APT and three Travelmarvel cruises on the Mekong, including the first sailings of the new ship Mekong Serenity.

“We’re excited to release our full long-haul travel programme in 2023 and 2024, and to have added the exciting destinations of Japan and India,” said Brad Bennetts, APT and Travelmarvel’s head of sales and business development.

“With confidence growing, our agent partners and valued guests are looking to explore further afield next year. Canada and North America have already been selling well for us, and adding our Faraway Collection means that we can service those customers who are looking for something even more exotic.

“Our immersive cruise and land tours offer something for every budget, and our Book with Confidence promise is back for another year, meaning that all guests are guaranteed flexibility and complete reassurance when it comes to securing their dream holiday.”
