Bernard Carter, the former Oceania executive, has announced that he is to join Atlas Ocean Voyages as an adviser to its sales team.
The expedition yachting brand is looking to crack the UK and European markets.
“The Atlas Ocean Voyages team has developed the brand around two of my greatest passions – exquisite cuisine and exploration,” Carter, who also has experience working with Silversea, said.
Atlas Ocean Voyages president and chief executive James Rodriguez said: “Bernard Carter is a welcomed asset to the Atlas Ocean Voyage’s sales team as we continue to grow and expand our fleet and deployment footprint.
“Building and sourcing guests from new markets is an important piece of our expansion plan and we welcome Bernard’s support in our international sales initiative.”
Atlas Ocean Voyages, a brand of Mystic Invest Holding, operates expedition yachts carrying fewer than 200 guests in “five-star comfort”.
