Carnival Cruise Line reveals its new Fun Ambassadors
Agents from Cruise.co.uk and Flight Centre amongst new intake
Carnival Cruise Line unveiled its latest Fun Ambassadors programme for 2024.
The initiative sees 11 travel agents, hand-picked for their knowledge of the cruise industry, work with Carnival throughout the year to help them improve working with the trade.
As part of the programme, the Fun Ambassadors will attend quarterly meetings with Carnival executives.
Agents will have priority access to Carnival events and receive 10 Loyalty Rocks points per booking this year, which can be used on LoyaltyRocksClub.com, the line’s agent rewards platform. In addition, they will be hosted at the 2024 CLIA Conference in Southampton in May, with travel, accommodation, dinner and drinks included.
Iain Baillie, Vice-President International Sales at Carnival, said: “Our Fun Ambassador programme is not just about promoting Carnival – it’s about igniting a spark of excitement within our team of agents.
“Our ambassadors will be the driving force behind our continued success. They will share their insights and immerse themselves in the Carnival experience, ensuring our customers receive the best recommendations based on their first-hand know-how. This year is all about choosing fun, learning and growing together.”
Fiona Harper, a cruise consultant at Cruise.co.uk and one of the Fun Ambassadors, said: “I am looking forward to promoting Carnival to my colleagues and learning more about the line’s fleet and unique selling points. I will compose a monthly post about the Fun Ambassador role and include any promotions that may help the team to promote and sell Carnival.”
Ruth Ringwood, of Flight Centre, said: “I’m so happy to have been chosen as a Fun Ambassador and look forward to learning more about Carnival, which will help us promote the brand to our clients.”
