Celebrity Cruises enhances sales team
Celebrity Cruises has made four new appointments to its UK and Ireland sales team to further develop its relationships with agents and help more agencies and trade partners grow their bookings.
Pauline Thomson takes the position of regional sales manager Scotland & Ireland, joining the cruise line from TUI Travel, where she was a retail manager. Thomson joins with 15 years’ experience at the operator. She won a number of internal awards during her time there.
Peter Ryan becomes regional sales manager south-east. He joins from Thomas Cook, where he has held multiple store manager positions, most recently in its High Chelmer store. Peter opened and managed Thomas Cook’s first Discovery store in Westfield Stratford and in 2017 won a TTG Top of the Shops award for service and innovation.
In addition, Ros Nigrelli returns to the business as trade support manager and Nicky Webb has been promoted to trade support executive.
Claire Stirrup, director of sales, Celebrity Cruises UK & Ireland, said: “Our trade partners are an essential part of Celebrity Cruises’ ongoing success and we are committed to making sure that they have every opportunity to grow with us and receive the support they need.
“The enhanced team aims to give every agent more chance to build their Celebrity Cruises business.”
The new hires follow Celebrity’s sales team restructure announcement, which was made in January.
