Celebrity to host fourth Pride at Sea

Celebrity Cruises is planning its fourth annual Pride at Sea, which will take place across its fleet on June 4. 

Pride Month runs throughout June. For Celebrity guests the celebrations will start on Celebrity Edge, sailing to Italy, France and Spain, before the party moves to another vessel, with each “handing off the party baton”. This will ensure the festivities run across hemispheres and time zones. 

Every ship in the fleet will have a headline performance, with Britain’s Got Talent star Andrew Derbyshire leading the flagship Pride at Sea party on Celebrity Edge.

A variety of multi-generational LGBTQ+ focused programming will take place throughout the month of June, with officers, staff, and guests getting involved.

Celebrity is a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ+ community, and earlier this year it revealed its All Inclusive Photo Project, to create the world’s first free-to-use open source image library featuring entirely minority ethnic, disabled, plus-size, and LGBTQ+ ‘changemakers’. It was the first US company to offer legal same-sex marriages at sea and it is a sponsor of Miami Beach Gay Pride.

Celebrity’s most luxurious vessel, Celebrity Beyond, made its debut in April, and Cruise Adviser discovered some of the most eye-catching areas on board.
