Celestyal drops vaccination requirement

The line has eased its Covid rules with immediate effect following advice from the Greek health authorities

Celestyal Cruises has removed its Covid vaccination and recovery certificate rules.

The eastern Mediterranean and Greek Islands specialist brought forward the easing of rules following advice from Greek health authorities.

The line still requires guests to take a PCR or antigen test prior to boarding until March 2023, after which there will be no Covid rules for Celestyal sailings.

“The health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we serve is our top priority and we continue to monitor and adjust to the evolving global situation,” said chief commercial officer Leslie Peden.

“We look forward to welcoming all guests for the immersive experience that we are known for and explore the unique destinations of the Greek islands and eastern Mediterranean.”
