Charlie Hewitt-Davies appointed UK boss of Riverside

Charlie Hewitt-Davies has been appointed as managing director UK of Seaside Collection and Riverside Luxury Cruises.

The company operates much of the now-defunct Crystal River Cruises fleet, as well as a luxury hotel portfolio that includes the Grand Hotel Residencia, Gran Canaria and Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll, Maldives.

She replaces Stuart Perl.

This new appointment demonstrates the commitment by both brands to the UK and Ireland markets, as they continue to build a strong team of industry professionals with a wealth of experience in the luxury segment.

Hewitt Davies joins from high-end tour operator, Eden Luxury Travel, where she was employed since 2010.

“The two brands have so much to offer the luxury seeking traveller and I’m looking forward to working with the existing and growing teams to build a strong and cohesive strategy that will drive bookings and grow brand awareness” said Hewitt Davies.

She added: “Working closely and building relationships with luxury tour operators, travel agents and travel designers will be a key part of our sales strategy.”
