CLIA sends out call for charity bike ride
CLIA UK & Ireland is sending out a call to delegates attending the 2019 Winter Ball to join its charity bike ride to raise money for the Family Holiday Association.
The ride will take place on December 17, the day before the CLIA Cruise Forum and Winter Ball.
Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland director, said: “Last year, thanks to the fundraising efforts by CLIA UK & Ireland’s members and its supporters, we were absolutely delighted to be able to help FHA send over 330 families on a precious day out at the British seaside or local tourist attraction.
“This year we hope to send even more families on a well-deserved break by raising funds through the CLIA Cycle to the Ball challenge. We already have 13 people signed up and we’d love to get that number even higher. It is a relatively serious itinerary, so you will need to make sure that you train and have the right gear, but we can assure you that it will be worth it and it’s all for a great cause!”
