Agency took cruise lines away for its yearly ski break, the online travel agency, has recognised its top suppliers at its annual awards.

Now in its 18th year, the conference – in Obertauern, Austria – hosted 30 senior cruise industry attendees. The awards were across 12 categories.

P&O Cruises was the standout winner on the evening, taking home four awards, including the sought-after title of ‘UK’s most popular cruise line’.

In a new edition to the event, the ‘Special Recognition Award’ was presented to Jo Rzymowska, to mark her outstanding contribution as Celebrity Cruises’ Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA, as well as her wider influence across travel, during her 18-year tenure in the industry.

Chris Gardner said: “Our relationships with the cruise lines, and how we work with them, is imperative to the success of our business. The awards allow us to celebrate our successes together.

“It’s equally as important for us to acknowledge what our customers think and to share that insight with the cruise lines. An escape at sea is a fantastic holiday option, offering unbeatable variety and value for money – by working together, we ensure guests return to cruise, year after year.”

To be recognised by and their guests is a real honour, and a reflection of the strength of our product and investment in the partnership with their team.” awards were also taken home by Royal Caribbean, MSC, Regent Seven Seas, Celebrity Cruises and Avalon.
