Cruising Excursions adds to portfolio
Cruising Excursions has added shore excursions in New Zealand, Myanmar and Thailand to its Essential Tours collection.
Damien Mooney, Cruising Excursions managing director, said: “Our product continues to evolve and our portfolio to grow. We are continually adding, enhancing, tweaking and improving the excursions we offer and revising the ports we offer them from, listening to our customers and taking notice of our market intelligence.”
New experiences included dog sledding in Alaska, a tour of Pearl Harbour in Hawaii and a Blue Eye Spring at Sarande in Albania.
“We have sophisticated software tracking the itineraries of all the commercial cruise ships, enabling us to offer excursions to coincide with the ships being in port with new destinations added accordingly
“Last year we made considerable Investment in our technology, enhancing and making the ‘look to book’ process even simpler and quicker.”
The company has also added excursions for small groups such as trekking in Corfu and a secret garden tour of Lisbon. There is also an “enabled excursion” with wheelchair adapted vehicles in Athens and Gibraltar.
