Crystal’s 2019 revenues ‘exceed last year total’

Crystal Cruises has revealed that its revenues for 2019 have already exceeded its total figure for 2018.

Speaking at the company’s 28th Annual Sales Gala, Tom Wolber, Crystal’s CEO & president, said that while last year’s goal was to stabilise the business, the company “continues to be on an exciting path”.

When compared to revenues at the same time last year, Crystal’s Yacht business is up 31.4 per cent, river is up 12.5 per cent and ocean is up 10 per cent. Overall the business is up 11.4 per cent.

Crystal invited 56 travel agent partners to its Sales Gala – with each having made at least $1 million in bookings for the company – 24 of those partners made $2 million. The agents attending the gala represent $136 million in bookings.

Wolber added that the company was constantly looking to improve, making it one of his goals for 2019.

“If you think you are the best then you’re probably not,” he said. “It’s about doing better with our guests and better with our partners than ever before.”
