Cunard has announced three more ship visit dates for travel agents wanting to get on board in Southampton.
The new dates, between September and November, are onboard Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.
The will comprise a guided tour of suites, staterooms and iconic venues, a three-course lunch with wine, and free time to explore the ship.
The announcement follows four previous ship visits this year, when a total of 90 agents boarded in Southampton and Greenock.
Tom Mahoney, Director of UK Sales at Cunard, said: “We believe that one of the best ways to support our agents in selling Cunard is by offering them the opportunity to experience our magnificent Queens first-hand. Travel agents are central to our success, which is why we have focused on increasing both our ship visit and fam trip programmes throughout 2023.
“This year’s initial round of ship visits received exceptional feedback from the trade, and we can’t wait to welcome more agents on board, to give them a taste of the Cunard sailing experience. I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to join us as it will be a brilliant return on the investment of your valuable time. ”
Rhys Davies, Cruise Travel Expert at Iglu, said of a recent Cunard ship visit: “I had a fantastic time aboard Queen Victoria, and not only was it an incredibly valuable experience, but the Cunard team were very attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the brand. I later sold a Queen Victoria sailing and found the ship visit helped hugely in being able to sell the Cunard experience. It was one of the best ship visits that I have ever had!”
