Cunard video showcases Queen Anne details

A team of designers have joined forces to craft the new ship's look

Cunard has showcased details of its new ship, Queen Anne, releasing a video focused on the design.

The name of the ship was announced last week, and Queen Anne will commence its maiden season in early 2024.

A team of designers including David Collins Studio, Richmond International and Sybille de Margerie have worked alongside creative director Adam Tihany to create unique spaces across the ship.

The designers have previously worked on luxury hotels, spas, restaurants, bars, yachts, and private grand residences, and this is the first time David Collins Studio and Sybille de Margerie have applied their experience to a ship.

A spokesperson for the line said: “The principle concept was founded on heritage, craftsmanship, storytelling, style and innovation. These five pillars ultimately became the design DNA for the ship, and accordingly, the engine of inspiration for the designers, working together in unison.”

Brand vice president Lee Powell added: “We’ve worked with world leading interior designers and fresh creative talent; we’ve discussed and tested our ideas with guests from around the world; and we’ve delved deep into the Cunard archives to make sure we can truly celebrate what makes Cunard so unique.”
