Details of Silversea’s Otium wellness programme revealed

Silversea has announced details of its new Otium wellness programme, which is inspired by the philosophy and traditions of the ancient Roman lifestyle. It extends beyond the spa, with “moments of tailored relaxation” throughout the ship. 

The programme will debut in the spa on Silver Dawn, which is the line’s 10th ship and will welcome guests from April 1.

Otium offers guests a customised wellness journey, starting with bathing, balcony, and sleeping experiences in suites. Silversea’s butlers tailor guests’ experiences with a choice of scents and offer treats from a comfort food menu.

Otium bathrobes and slippers are provided for their journey to the Otium Spa, where they enjoy a wellness ritual, influenced by ancient Roman baths. A range of Mediterranean-inspired treatments are available in the spa and the salon, including hydrothermal experiences.

The reimagined spa on Silver Dawn is more than 36m2 larger than that of her sister ship, Silver Muse, spanning over 790m2 on deck six. Alongside treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam room, guests can use the beauty salon, fitness centre and barber salon. It also features a large relaxation room and an outdoor area.
