Emerald Cruises to return to the Danube
Sailings will resume on the Danube after successful restarts on the Douro and Rhine
Emerald Cruises will resume sailings on the Danube river in September following its successful return to the Douro and Rhine rivers.
Cruise ship Emerald Destiny is due to set sail from Nuremberg on September 6 for the eight-day Danube Delights river cruise.
The best-selling cruise itinerary covers four countries and calls at Passau, Melk, Dürnstein, Vienna and Bratislava along the way, before ending in Budapest.
Shore excursions include guided hikes to the fortress of Veste Oberhaus, a visit to the baroque gardens of Bratislava, and guided bike tours from Melk to Dürnstein.
Prices for the cruise lead in at £2,095 per person.
Douro sailings restarted on July 31 while Rhine cruises resumed on August 19.
