A 14-night festive break to the Canaries follows, departing on December 22, followed by an epic 78-night exploration of South America and the Antarctic, for the first time in Fred. Olsen’s history.

“At Fred. Olsen, we have almost 200 years of seafaring history, and so to welcome guests aboard form Portsmouth, a city with rich maritime heritage, is particularly exciting for us,” said Clare Ward, the line’s director of product and customer service.

“These sailings have been hand-crafted by our team of dedicated journey planners, to offer our guests something special at the time of year they are visiting.

“Plus, the smaller size of Balmoral means everyone can be sure of a warm and friendly atmosphere aboard all of her sailings, whether it’s for a warmer festive break, or that once-in-a-lifetime voyage to South America and Antarctica.”
