Holland America Line hosts 50 agents in Alaska

The fam trips took place onboard Nieuw Amsterdam and Koningsdam

Holland America Line, part of Carnival Corporation, recently hosted more than 50 travel agents on cruises to Alaska, the company has revealed.

The fam trips took place onboard Nieuw Amsterdam and Koningsdam, on seven-day round trip sailings from Vancouver in May and June. Agents were from companies including Trailfinders, Iglu, Riviera, Travel Counsellors. Hays Travel and Audley Travel.

Following her time in Alaska with Holland America Line, Clare Hyatt, Travel Counsellor, shared “It was such an incredible experience, the ship was superb, especially the entertainment on board, we loved the bands. The food outstanding – favourite the Thai restaurant Tamarind. The shore excursions, all were the best I have done on any ship! The Seaplane over glacier and kayaking while seeing a humpback whale, cycling down from the Yukon pass train ride… Everything was perfect.”

Holland America Line has more than 75 years of experience sailing in Alaska. Guess have almost 180 different shore excursions to choose from including a full day in Glacier Bay with an expert ranger guide, kayaking in the Tatoosh Islands and the Ketchikan lumberjack experience.
