Hurtigruten launches regional roadshow

Hurtigruten has rolled out a programme to visit 526 regional travel agencies across the UK in June.

The company said the roadshow is to increase awareness of the opportunities to travel with Hurtigruten from regional airports.

The tour, which started in Birmingham, will focus on eight other key UK regional airports and the local agents within the area including Bournemouth, London Gatwick, Manchester, Norwich International, Newcastle International, Glasgow, East Midlands and Bristol.

At each stop Hurtigruten representatives will meet with local agents and provide them with relevant merchandise to help drive local bookings and regional charters.

Anthony Daniels, head of UK sales at Hurtigruten said: “We recognise the value in engaging with regional agents and this roadshow will see us meet with almost a thousand individual agents from across the UK.

“Not only will we educate them about what a Hurtigruten voyage can offer, but we will also make them aware of our great offers for customers including the unique Northern Lights Promise. We look forward to seeing the results of the roadshow and how we can strengthen our existing relationships with local agents.”
