Industry joins Twitterstorm

Tweet aimed at Grant Shapps to go out at 10am

Cruise Adviser is is urging the industry to get behind the latest step in the #SaveTravel campaign and take part in a “Twitterstorm” today (8 October) ahead of the government’s latest travel corridor
announcement.

At 10am, the industry is being urged to post the same tweet, aimed at transport secretary Grant Shapps.

The aim is to try to drive home the message that the sector needs urgent support from the government, and a better solution than the current travel corridor announcements.

How?

Copy the below text and paste it into a tweet from your personal or business
Twitter account:

90,000 jobs already lost/at risk, only 6 countries without restrictions – the UK travel industry is collapsing in front of your eyes @grantshapps. Enough is enough. Where is the sector specific support? The airport testing? Why won’t you #SaveTravel? #SaveFutureTravel #Test4Travel

You can also download the pic at the bottom of this article to add to your tweet.

When?

10am Thursday (8 October)
