John Docherty to leave Princess for Just You

John Doherty is to leave Princess Cruises and join Just You and Travelsphere as key account manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Doherty was formerly a regional business manager for Princess Cruises.

Alastair Campbell, managing director of Travelsphere and Just You, said: “Both Travelsphere and Just You are seeing an increasing demand for their tours departing from local airports, especially from Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is very important to us that we support our partners that have a customer base close to these airports. With the arrival of John as a Key Account Manager, we have seen our UK Trade team double in size over the last 12 months. John has excellent relationships with agents in Scotland and Northern Ireland and we are looking forward to helping grow their touring business.

“In Scotland, Just You and Travelsphere offer tours around the world via direct or connecting flights from Aberdeen, Inverness, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, from Croatia to India and Italy to South Africa, while Northern Ireland offers us a huge opportunity, so we made the decision to have a dedicated resource in both countries,” added Alastair

Docherty said: “With Travelsphere and Just You tailoring their offering for both the Scotland and Northern Ireland markets, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the business. Touring has a really loyal customer base and I am looking forward to supporting our agent partners as we build their business in this market.”

He will start his new role on 11 February.
