Jon Knight joins Riverside Luxury Cruises

Jon Knight, the former AmaWaterways national sales manager, has joined Riverside Luxury Cruises as its new head of sales.

Knight will oversee sales and focus on developing the company’s trade distribution.

Riverside Luxury Cruises will officially start sailing this April, with the Riverside Mozart operating on the Danube.

Riverside Mozart was bought from Crystal River Cruises, which was wound up last year. Riverside Luxury Cruises has since gone on to buy the MS Bach, MS Ravel, MS Mahler and MS Debussy from Crystal.

Riverside Luxury Cruises managing director Stuart Perl said: “We are delighted to have someone of Jon’s calibre and experience joining us and demonstrating our commitment to our trade-focused sales strategy.

“Developing and building strong relationships with travel agents and the wider industry will be a huge part of our success.
