MSC Cruises adds exclusive shows to Meraviglia class ships
The performances have been crafted by the line's new production brand
MSC Cruises has added seven dance, acrobatic and music shows to its Meraviglia class ships, which have all been exclusively created for the vessels’ Euro Carousel Lounge venues.
The 40-minute shows have been created by Carousel Productions at Sea, MSC’s new production brand. Each 1,000m2, custom-built, multi-million Euro Carousel Lounge can accommodate up to 400 guests.
The line’s head of entertainment Steve Leatham said: “Each show pushes creative boundaries and challenges the status quo to explore new territories to create inspiring experiences that are sure to delight our guests of all ages. The Carousel Lounge is one of our most intimate and technologically advanced venues on board our ships and we wanted to offer seven truly original shows that take audiences through unique story routes and imaginary universes”.
The performances include Arkymea on MSC Virtuosa, in which a scientist finds a hidden world where the wildest ideas and the most ambitious dreams become reality. With the help of a mysterious device, the scientist breaks through dimensions to reach Arkymea, a mysterious and magical place populated by extravagant characters performing acrobatic feats.
The shows are available on MSC Virtuosa, MSC Grandiosa, MSC Bellissima and MSC Meraviglia. Tickets can be booked in advance for €10 or onboard for €15 and includes a signature alcoholic or alcohol-free cocktail.
