Norwegian Cruise Line introduces tier system for NCL Freestyle Rewards anniversary
The tiers are Silver, Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Ambassador.
Norwegian Cruise Line has introduced an all-new tier system to its industry-leading agent rewards programme, NCL Freestyle Rewards, to celebrate the scheme’s one year anniversary.
Currently agents earn tons of benefits from every NCL booking they make. The higher the cabin category, the bigger the reward. Points can be saved up and spent on thousands of different prizes, chosen from the NCL Freestyle Rewards catalogue.
Under the new system agents will be put into a particular tier based on how many NCL bookings they made in the previous 12 months. Partners who have already enrolled in the scheme will be automatically allocated a tier based on the last year’s activity, which can be checked on the online portal.
The tiers are Silver, Gold, Platinum, Sapphire and Ambassador.
Agents in the higher tiers will receive invitations to NCL events and exclusive celebrations. NCL will also host an annual event for its top selling Ambassador members.
Travel agents who claim bookings until March 31 this year will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of 50 staterooms for two on Norwegian Prima’s Inaugural sailing (August 12-14, 2022).
Gary Anslow, senior director of sales for the UK and Ireland said: “NCL Freestyle Rewards has been a great success. In just one year we have signed up over 4,000 agents, and we’re excited to see it continue to grow. As part of our Partners First philosophy, we continue to support our valued travel agent partners and reward them for their commitment and loyalty to NCL. The new tier system provides even more opportunities for agents to benefit, particularly as demand returns and as we launch the new Prima Class and Norwegian Prima this summer.”
Cruise Adviser is currently running a competition with Norwegian Cruise Line to win a place on the inaugural trade event for Norwegian Prima. Click here for more details.
