Oceania appoints new sales manager

David Sanderson has been hired as new sales manager north, Scotland and Ireland

Oceania Cruises has hired David Sanderson as its new sales manager North, Scotland and Ireland to work with its trade partners.

Sanderson joins a team of sales professionals covering the UK and Ireland, including Alex Farquharson, recently promoted to senior manager key accounts, and James Scott, sales manager South.

The team will report to new sales director UK and Ireland, Louise Craddock, who has been with the brand for nearly 10 years.

With Sanderson’s appointment, the sales team will be fully operational in their new roles at the start of the new year.

Sanderson has more than 10 years of experience within the cruise industry, most recently as business development manager Scotland and Ireland at Oceania’s sister company, Norwegian Cruise Line.

Louise Craddock, sales director UK and Ireland, said: “I am thrilled to welcome David to our newly restructured UK and Ireland sales team at such an exciting time for Oceania Cruises as we continue our return-to-service journey.”

She added: “David’s extensive experience and dynamic thinking will make him a great addition to the team at such a critical and exciting time for the global cruise industry. Having a newly restructured, fully operational sales team by the start of the new year will ensure we are in the best possible position to work effectively with our trade partners in this new cruising era.”
