Oceania Cruises enjoys record-setting day
Summer season launch of 2022 Europe & North America Collection breaks records
Oceania Cruises enjoyed a record-breaking day for a summer season launch with its 2022 Europe & North America Collection.
The day represented a more than 20 per cent increase over the line’s 2021 Europe & North America season launch, which occurred in August 2019.
Cruises to the Mediterranean and Baltic regions were strong performers as were the line’s longer Grand Voyages. More than 90 per cent of the reservations were new, cash bookings with less than 10 per cent using future cruise credits issued for previously canceled voyages, the line reported.
Additionally, one-third of the reservations were from first-time, new-to-brand guest, it said.
“The tremendous response from our loyal repeat guests, our travel partners, and first-time guests underscores the tremendous pent-up demand for immersive, destination-focused cruises and our acclaimed small-ship experience that features The Finest Cuisine at Sea,” said Bob Binder, president and chief executive officer of Oceania Cruises.
The line will open its 2023 Around the World voyage for reservations in January 2021 followed by the full season of 2022-23 winter collection of itineraries in February. In the summer of 2021, the line will open the inaugural season of the first of its Allura-class new-builds

This month, Oceania Cruises has launched its Go for Gold campaign, a new initiative that means agents can win daily prizes as a result of bookings made.
The company is offering quadruple complimentary points from November 16 to December 15, 2020 based on confirmed bookings.
Bernard Carter, senior vice president and managing director, EMEA, Oceania Cruises, said: “We are incredibly appreciative of the support shown by our trade partners and we are delighted to be able to offer them this opportunity to bolster their reward points, and enjoy some treats on us.”
Agents who have made a booking can log on to oceaniarewards.com to reveal their prize, including bronze (double points), silver (triple points) or gold (quadruple points). At the end of the month, one agent will be chosen at random and receive an additional 100 points. All points must be redeemed on select sailings within seven days of the prize being revealed.
Points can be transferred into vouchers worth £25 or £50 via the website or app. Vouchers can be used online at Amazon, Waitrose, John Lewis or Yumbles, an online food marketplace selling delicious, healthy and all-natural food.
