P&O Cruises records surge in agent’s booking their own holiday

P&O Cruises has said that more than 100 travel agents booked their own holiday as part of a recent Shine Rewards Club offer that gave agents double points.

Points were redeemed against a wide range of cruises, including 7-night holidays to the Norwegian fjords on board Iona, as well as cruises to the Mediterranean and Caribbean on newest ship Arvia, with 45% of those booked going on their first ever P&O Cruises holiday.

P&O Cruises director of sales, Ruth Venn said, “There’s no better way for agents to sell P&O Cruises holidays than by experiencing it themselves. We’re so excited to have seen a surge of agent partners, including so many who have never travelled with us before, taking advantage of our recent offer to see for themselves the fantastic destinations, dining options and entertainment on board, including on our newest ships Iona and Arvia.”
