P&O Cruises unveils Arvia’s on board features
The new ship will offer brand firsts, including a men’s grooming area, experiential shopping zones and exclusive wellness suites
P&O Cruises’ new ship Arvia will feature a series of firsts for the fleet, including a men’s grooming area, experiential shopping zones and wellness suites.
The new dedicated men’s area includes a barber station, plus male grooming collections from leading brands such as American Crew, Clinique for Men, Barbour Pro and Clarins for Men.
Experiential shopping zones will be introduced to The Avenue, Arvia’s on board shopping destination, which has 900 square metres of open-plan retail space.
It includes an area showcasing the latest in tech at sea; a ‘design your own’ fine jewellery bar; Pandora Brilliance, showcasing the brand’s new range of lab-produced diamonds; and a Swarovski ‘Wonder Lab’ concept store.
Alongside Mulberry, The White Company and Apple, guests will also be able to shop for 30 brands that are new to P&O Cruises, including Rado watches, Floral Street fragrances and Cotswolds Distillery.
The Oasis Spa & Health Club features a cool room, salt room and two exclusive wellness suites where guests can indulge in bespoke treatments. One of the suites includes a hammam, the other a steam shower and both offer private treatment baths, a lounging space and light refreshments.
Arvia begins sailing in December 2022, offering cruises from Barbados and Antigua, before heading to Europe for cruises in the Mediterranean from April 2023.
