Princess Cruises extends ‘Ask Isaac’ agent webchat hours

System now accounts for a quarter of all agent enquiries

The opening hours for Princess Cruises’ travel agent webchat ‘Ask Isaac’ are to be extended, the company has announced revealed.

The webchat will now be available from 9am – 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday. The change is to an increase in demand from agents.

Named ‘Ask Isaac’ after the bartender in The Love Boat TV series, the tool has been used by agents for over five years and now accounts for a quarter of UK agent enquiries, an increase of over 50 per cent year-on-year.

Princess Cruises is dedicated to supporting the trade and it has never been more important to be able to provide immediate support and information to our travel agents partners.” Tony Roberts, vice president Princess Cruises UK & Europe said. “Extending Ask Isaac’s hours means we are able to allocate even more resource, time and support to the growing number of agents who are benefitting from the live webchat service.”

Princess Cruises has also announced that Pacific Princess is to leave its fleet. The ship, which was formerly part of Renaissance Cruises, has been bought by an undisclosed buyer.
