Regent hires trade marketing manager
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has hired Sam Deadman as its trade marketing manager, international, a newly created position.
Deadman previously worked for the company from 2011 to 2016.
“I am delighted to be back in the cruise industry, it’s a very special sector of travel and has some of the most talented travel professionals,” said Sam Deadman, Trade Marketing Manager, International. “We have some big plans to increase engagement with the travel trade with the aim of increasing Regent’s brand awareness and the number of luxury partners we work with.”
Regent has also made a number of other changes including promoting Paul Beale from head of sales to senior director of sales. Ed Lang has been promoted to senior tour operators and groups manager while Caroline Smith has been promoted to senior director of international marketing.
“Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a company that recognises and rewards its employees for their hard work, and I am thrilled that we can celebrate Caroline, Ed and Paul’s successes with these well-deserved promotions,” said Graham Sadler, Managing Director, Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “I am also delighted to be working with Sam again, and am very excited at the prospect of increasing our engagement with the travel trade. With the launch of Seven Seas Splendor on the horizon it’s really important for us to tell them of the benefits of working with Regent, not least because we offer some of the highest commission margins in the cruise industry.”
