Riviera appoint Rob Snelson as chief technology officer

He will take responsibility for the river cruise line’s business technology strategy, including growth initiatives and change management

Riviera Travel have appointed Rob Snelson in the newly-created role of chief technology officer (CTO).
He starts the new role in December and will take responsibility for Riviera’s business technology strategy, which will include developing company growth initiatives and change management. He will report to Riviera CEO Phil Hullah.

Snelson has previously held several senior technology positions, including as CTO at Travel Counsellors for five years. Prior to joining Riviera he was CTO at NRS Healthcare, a clinical services and equipment provider.
Phil Hullah said: “Rob brings a wealth of experience, both in technology transformation and from his years working in the travel trade. Technology will play a critical role in the evolution and growth of our business and Rob’s appointment will help us support these ambitions.”
Snelson added: “I am very excited to be joining Riviera Travel. Technology is a critical enabler of any business strategy and the Riviera IT team will play a key part in the ongoing success of the company. I look forward to supporting my IT and business colleagues with their aims and ambitions when I join later this year.”
