Riviera launches 2024 European river cruise programme

The line has revealed 301 departures sailing 13 itineraries throughout the continent and they are on sale from today (November 30)

Riviera Travel has launched its European river cruise programme for 2024, with a total of 13 itineraries available to book from today (November 30).

There are 301 departures sailing between March and November, including seven dedicated to solo travellers. Guests are able to save 10 per cent on a middle or upper deck cabin on all 2024 river cruises if they book before February 28, 2023.

Highlights include a five-day cruise around the Dutch bulbfields from Amsterdam; eight days on the Danube including guided tours of Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava; and an 11-day voyage from Lyon, including visits to tthe Ornithological Park of Pont de Gau, the Pont du Gard and the Ardèche Gorges.

There is also an eight-day cruise on the Douro in Portugal, featuring eight guided visits and tours including lunch and a flamenco show in Salamanca; a guided tour of Porto with a port wine cellar visit; dinner at a typical Portuguese quinta; and visits to Castelo Rodrigo, Mateus Palace gardens and Lamego.

All Riviera cruises include return flights with regional airport options available at no additional cost; Eurostar travel on select itineraries; full board; and scheduled visits and tours. Excursions are available every day, while sailings also include onboard lectures, port talks, entertainment and authentic regional menus.
