Riviera Travel announces 2025 European river cruise programme
Company holds 2025 sailings at 2024 rates
Riviera Travel has launched its 2025 European river cruise programme, holding prices at 2024 rates.
The programme, which consists of 16 itineraries, is available to book from today.

Overall Riviera Travel has 261 departures on offer between March and November. There are 15 departures dedicated to solo travellers and 32 themed itineraries.
The itineraries cover countries such as France, Germany, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and
the Netherlands, and include:
* The Blue Danube. An eight-day sailing featuring seven tours and visits including guided tours of
Vienna, Salzburg or Linz, Dürnstein, Budapest and Bratislava; and visits to Esztergom Basilica and
Melk Abbey. From £1599pp.
* The Douro, Porto and Salamanca. An eight-day cruise featuring eight guided visits and tours
including tour, lunch and a flamenco show in Salamanca; a guided tour of Porto with a port wine
cellar visit; dinner at a typical Portuguese quinta; and visits to Castelo Rodrigo, Mateus Palace

* The Seine, Paris & Normandy. An eight-day sailing, featuring nine tours and visits including guided
tours of the Château Gaillard in Les Andelys, the Place du Vieux-Marché in Rouen; and visits to
Bayeaux Tapestry, Monet’s house and Gardens, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees

* Burgundy, the River Rhone & Provence. An eight-day sailing, featuring seven tours and visits
including a wine tasting in Beaune; visits to the Palace of the Popes; a guided tour of Lyon; and a

* Rhine Cruise to Switzerland. An eight-day sailing, featuring seven tours and visits including guided
tours of Strasbourg, Koblenz, Rüdesheim and Speyer; a visit to Titisee in the Black Forest; a railway
journey up the Bernese Oberland Mountain range; plus an onboard live classical quartet recital.

Prices include return flights with regional airport options available at no additional cost; Eurostar
