Robin Shaw leaves Saga
Robin Shaw, the CEO of Travel for Saga, is to leave the business at the end of the month.
Shaw joined the company in March 2010 as CEO of the cruise division. He was appointed CEO of Saga Travel in January 2018. He has previously held roles with Avis and Royal Caribbean.
Euan Sutherland, Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “I wish to thank Robin for his contribution to Saga over the past 10 years. Robin joined Saga as head of Cruise before taking over all our Travel operations in 2018. Under his leadership Saga has developed a unique, boutique cruising offer that has really put us on the map in a competitive industry. He has been a great advocate for Saga customers and our brand and we wish him well for the future.”
Robin Shaw said: “The time is right for me to find a new challenge. I am proud of everything we have achieved in Saga Travel, particularly the creation of our two new ships. I look forward to new challenges as the travel industry resets itself in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.”
